Porsche has released the new generation mid-engine model of its successful Cayman series, the 2012 porsche cayman from its stable. The new car features a 6-cyclinder 3.4 liter Direct Fuel Injection engine that delivers a peak power of 330 HP. It is an additional 10 horsepower over the last model that helps it reach 60 mph just under 4.7 seconds, making it faster than its predecessor, the Cayman S by 2/10th of a second.
The 2012 cayman features a dual clutch, 7-speed PDK transmission. The sports model, Chrono delivers a performance of 60 mph in just less than 4.4 seconds, which makes it the best among the different generations of Porsche.
The single letter mark, “R” has been reserved in order to define this elite edition. The car has been overstated with fixed spoiler, aluminium door skins, carbon fiber seats, light allow wheels and other modern additions.
